If the seller backs down and asks you to return the item for a refund, or PayPal find in your favour and ask you to do the same, make absolutely sure that you return it using a method that requires a signature that you can view online, so that the seller can't say "I didn't get it!". Say that the hardware is faulty and will not connect to the computer, and that the software provided is cracked/pirated software on a USB stick, rather than coming with a legitimate license key. Does the S2 usually come with software that is protected by a license key, i.e. They came with a card in the box with a link on it to download the software, as well as the license key to register it. The 2 NI products that I've bought (A6 package and Z2 mixer) didn't come with the software on a disc either. Went on ni wbsite downloaded some driver files installed I have replied to who i brought it off and doesnt seem bothered and refusing a refund as it was working when it left him.

Here comes the problem i have an usb light on the controller but nothing else when turn power on it all lights up but then nothing.It seems to me that the usb is connected but its not commuicating with traktor on the pc.

So thought could go online and register the serial code online with ni so can download the driver etc setup files for the s2 but hey ho theres no serial code on box,no card,no cd,and no serial on the actual controller.
